Stand # 018, Frankie & Johnny's Fruit Stand, Stoney Creek, Ontario, Canada, 2026

Cherries.

Stoney Creek sits below the Niagara Escarpment, on the south shore of Lake Ontario, part of a stretch of land so tied to its harvest that one of its own hamlets took the name Fruitland. The escarpment traps cool air in spring and warm air in fall, a natural rhythm that has shaped orchard country here since the first Loyalist settlers cleared the land.
